Role Overview
As our SEO Manager, you’ll take ownership of the strategy and performance across our portfolio of SEO clients. You’ll lead the execution of campaigns, oversee a growing team of specialists, and work cross-functionally with content, technical, and account management teams to ensure our clients see measurable results.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in both on-page and off-page SEO, an analytical mindset, and a desire to build efficient systems and scalable processes. We’re looking for someone who is proactive, highly organized, and excited to help shape the future of our SEO department.
Responsibilities
- Lead SEO strategy and execution across all client accounts
- Develop and manage keyword strategies, content roadmaps, and link-building plans
- Collaborate with our internal team to delegate tasks and ensure consistent execution
- Oversee SEO audits, on-page optimization, and technical improvements
- Coordinate with our Technical SEO Specialist, SEO Writer, and Link Builder
- Monitor and analyze KPIs using tools like Google Analytics, GSC, Looker Studio, and SEMrush
- Prepare performance reports and deliver insights to the Account Manager for client updates
- Identify gaps and opportunities across campaigns and implement solutions
- Stay current with SEO best practices and algorithm updates
- Help refine internal SEO systems, SOPs, and workflows for long-term scalability
- Provide mentorship and strategic support to junior team members
Skills and Qualifications
- 4+ years of hands-on SEO experience (agency experience preferred)
- Proven success in driving organic traffic, keyword rankings, and conversions
- Strong understanding of technical SEO, on-page optimization, and off-page strategies
- Proficiency in tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, and SEMrush
- Confident managing multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Comfortable leading meetings, managing priorities, and working within cross-functional teams
- Experience using project management tools (e.g., ClickUp)
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is a plus, but not required
