Book a Strategy Call

Free Google Maps heatmap

See where you rank on Google Maps, street by street.

One ranking number hides the truth. Google shows a different Map Pack from every neighborhood, and the calls go to whoever is in it. This free scan checks 49 points within 6 miles of your listing and maps where your business shows up and where it disappears.

  • Your rank at 49 points, 2 miles apart, within a 6-mile radius of your listing
  • The share of your market where you sit in the top three
  • The competitors who beat you, neighborhood by neighborhood

One search, forty-nine answers.

Google Maps ranks by proximity first. A customer three miles from your shop sees a different top three than a customer six miles away, and neither of them sees the number your rank tracker reports.

  1. Every point is a real search. We run your keyword from 49 locations, 2 miles apart, and record where your listing lands at each one.
  2. The pattern is the diagnosis. Visibility that falls off fast from your office points to a proximity problem. A weak cluster on one side of town usually means the signals Google trusts there, reviews, citations, service pages, are thin.
  3. Absent points cost the most. A rank of 18 and no rank at all look the same to a customer. Both mean the call went to someone else.

How the free scan works

  1. Step 1

    Find your listing

Type your business name and city. Pick your Google Business Profile from the list so the scan matches your exact listing, not a namesake.

  2. Step 2

    Choose one keyword

Your trade fills in a common search, like ac repair. Change it to the service you most want to win.

  3. Step 3

    Watch it run

Your results open in a new tab and fill in as the points come back. Most scans finish in under a minute. We email you the link too.

Questions about the free heatmap

How accurate is a Google Maps heatmap?

Each point is a live search from that location, so it is as accurate as Google is at that moment. Rankings move by the hour, so treat the map as a snapshot, not a scoreboard. Two scans a week apart tell you far more than one.

Why can I only scan one keyword?

A scan is 49 searches, and the free version runs one keyword so you get your map in about a minute. A full analysis runs every service you sell and tracks them weekly.

What if my business does not show up in the search?

Type the name the way it appears on Google Maps and add your city. If it still does not appear, the listing may be new, suspended, or a service-area business with a hidden address. Book a strategy call and we will look it up with you.

Is there a limit on free scans?

Two scans a day per visitor, six a week and ten a month. It keeps the tool fast for everyone and the cost of running it sane. The full analysis has no such limit.

What do I do with the map?

Start with the points where you are absent. That is where the work is. If you want the plan, bring the map to a strategy call and we will show you what is missing in those neighborhoods and what it takes to close the gap.
